We all remember Lisa in our own ways, and we remember the memories we have of times spent with her. Sometimes for no reason, a silly joke, a uncoordinated slip, a smile, a laugh, a fun outfit or a snazzy pair of shoes. Though she was not here with us to party her heart out, like only she could, we remember her on her day, her birthday. |

| On April 22, 2007 some of us remembered Lisa on what would have been her 23rd birthday with a remembrance birthday party at Fort Logan Cemetery. | ||||||||||||||

| Some visited the Don't Drink and Drive memorial sign and added a little something in honor of Lisa's birthday. | ||||||||||||||

| And still others, remembering that Lisa's birthday this year was also Earth Day, planted something in memory of Lisa, and in honor of Earth Day. | ||||||||||||||
| When I think about my sister Lisa, I can't help but think of something pretty, whether it was her hair meticulously groomed, the perfect amount and tone of makeup, her nails that always looked freshly done and probably where, or the smallest little detail in an outfit that seemed to make the whole thing work, no matter the color. I think of Lisa and I think of pretty, so I see it so fitting to plant something pretty, that when you see it growing and blooming it reminds you of her, and in it's own right is simple pretty, as she always was to me. | ||||||||||||||

Lisa, I just wanted to say Happy Birthday and I love you girl! I miss you so much and today is your day that we all will remember you on no matter what. I went and picked out some pink flowers that we are going to plant later in the afternoon and they are beautiful just like you. I hope that you know that you made a difference in many peoples lives even with you being gone I have all my family planting something for you. I don't know what to say except that we all miss you so much and I hope you are looking down from above laughing at us today because you know yourself that we are not the planting type. Happy Birthday, sis. I miss you everyday and wish I had to hunt the stores to find you that perfect gift. The one that always seemed to be a pain to find, would be great to shop for now. I miss you and Jeremy misses you. Jeremy is flying a flag today for you. He said he talks to you all the time, that you are his little guardian angel, keep him safe and keep him company. Hey lady! Happy Birthday! We had made plans for you to come out so that we could celebrate our birthdays together here in Boston, and you had mentioned getting together with Deborah too. Well, me and Deb are getting together and takin the kids to Chuck E. Cheeses and we are planting an azaela bush for you...of course they have pink flowers. I miss you and constantly think about you! Hey Lisa, I know its early but, Happy Birthday! I just wanted to stop by and say hi and tell you I love you. Not a sunny beach-day goes by that I don't wish you were here with me. You would have been Happy in Cali, this place reminds me of you everyday, I went shoe shopping today and I missed you more than ever.
